Chased and patinated gilt bronze clock depicting Amour carrying Psyché, who is holding a crown. The couple, animated by flowing draperies, rests on a Roman numeral dial, decorated with stylized clouds and flanked by garlands of flowers and putti heads. The base repeats the garland motif with scrolled ends. The rectangular base rests on four legs, the front of which are decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. Early 19th century.
