Louis XVI-style gilt bronze clock depicting a nymph and two cherubs. The undressed nymph, resting on a cushion, nurses one of the cherubs, while the other calls out to her. In the center, the round enameled dial is decorated with finely drawn polychrome flower garlands and indicates the hours in Arabic numerals. It is supported by two winged sphinxes resting on a white marble base, adorned with chased ormolu decorations depicting foliage, bunches of vines, cherubs playing an instrument and garlands. Openwork hands and 6 feet.

Condition report: in good general condition, slight chip on the edge of the rear glass of the mechanism. Mechanism overhauled and in working order.
