Louis XV-style ormolu and chased cartel with rocaille decoration of scrolls, flowering branches and openwork latticework, resting on four moving uprights, decorated with musical instruments, foliage scrolls and flowering branches in the round. The white enameled dial movement, with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic for the minutes, is signed "Eug. Baguès à Paris". Hands finely chased with scrolls and foliage. Marked on the back of the dial "CHLESM1" and numbered "48178". Movement cleaned, serviced and in working order. Late 19th century, Circa: 1880 Dim: W:25cm, D:11cm, H:42cm.
