SMALL ANTIQUE PURSE IN MOTHER-OF-PEARL, ENAMEL, VERMEIL AND TURQUOISE, 19TH CENTURY

Antique mother-of-pearl purse, finely chased, decorated on both sides with flowers and foliage surrounded by a twisted motif. It features a gold medallion on both sides. One side is enameled. The vermeil frame is decorated with palmettes and rows of pearls. The purse opening is adorned with three turquoise stones. The interior reveals two small compartments. Marked "gn" inside on a label.

Condition report: this coin purse is in good overall condition with a slight loss to the gold near the hinge, and minor wear to the interior.
