Rare porcelain group in biscuit after a model by Etienne-Maurice Falconet (1716-1791) created at Sèvres in 1758. It depicts two women fishing, accompanied by two putti. Apocryphal Sèvres mark under the base, with the double "L" and the letters "HM". Several firing celebrations (see photos). This biscuit is probably a copy from the 18th or early 19th century, given the very heavy weight, the biscuit technique and the physiognomy of the figures. Bibliography: Falconet's model is listed in "Les œuvres de la Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. Tome I: La sculpture de 1738 à 1815", at no. 512. XIX° period, Circa: 1820 Dim: W:29cm, D:20cm, H:26cm.
