A bronze trophy with a green patina representing a slender, naked young man with a small head looking up to the sky. He is standing between two open hands. The composition of the figure with the arms back and the knee bent gives the impression that the young man is about to walk towards. The whole rests on a superposition of cubic and rectangular bases with the indication "Grand Prix C.I.R.E.P. 1962 Lunetterie Nouvelle Vincennes". It is signed Revol 62 on the base for Guy-Charles Revol and bears the Valsuani lost wax foundry stamp in a diamond on the right-hand side.

Guy-Charles Revol (1912-1991) was a French sculptor and medal-maker. He produced the bronze medal of the French Republic in 1969. He was made Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur and Officier des arts et des lettres.

The Valsuani foundry is a French foundry founded by Marcello Valsuani in 1908. It produces lost-wax bronze editions in Chevreuse (78). Renowned for its high-quality castings, the Valsuani foundry works with many renowned artists, including François Pompon, Aristide Maillol, Antoine Bourdelle and César.
