A bronze sculpture with a brown patina representing an elephant and its two calves. The animal group rests on an oblong black marble base. Signed: "Caputo BRONZE". 

Documentation: Ulisse Caputo (1872-1948) was a Neapolitan painter who lived in Paris. A pupil of Domenico Morelli and Gaetano Esposito, he settled in Paris around 1900 and exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1901.
