Small polychrome Bohemian porcelain sculpture in biscuit depicting Bacchus, god of wine and fertility, reclining on a tree trunk decorated with bunches of grapes. He is depicted naked, with a crown of grape leaves around his forehead. The young god is drunk, holding an empty wine jug. Bacchus rests on a naturalistic base dotted with flowers. Numbered "2827" and "35" on the reverse. Manufacture Royal Dux, Bohemia. Late 19th century, Circa: 1890 Dim: W:15cm, D:23cm, H:34cm. In good condition, with several chips to the petals.
