Porcelain coffee service with a midnight-blue background enhanced with gold, comprising a coffee pot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and 12 cups and saucers. This Sèvres-style porcelain dinner service is decorated with mythological figures in cartouches with gold frames, some signed "Polyet". The coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl depict Amour in the company of young women playing music or helping him prepare his arrows. The cups feature winged putti on clouds. The saucers feature bouquets of roses on a white background. All pieces are embellished with gold leafy motifs in relief, a technique characteristic of the Napoleon III period.

Condition report: the porcelain service is in very good condition, with beautiful gilding that has not suffered any wear. The support for the mottled velvet pieces can be refinished.
