Bronze vase from the Taisho period (1912-1926)

A four-tone bronze vase: gilded, silvered and patinated in dark brown and caramel. Two dragonflies simulate handles on either side of the vase. Both sides are decorated with stylized motifs representing thistle plants, finely chased in silver and gold, in ovoid frames. Unidentified founder's or artist's mark under the vase. Made circa 1925 in Japan in the Art Deco style.
