Louis XV period barometer-thermometer in molded, carved, lacquered and gilded wood. It features a Rocaille décor with stylized foliage. The upper part of the thermometer is annotated with remarks on the temperature displayed, notably the dates when Paris reached low temperatures. The lower part of the barometer is signed "Gorinij Fresse Bozzo" on the dial. The barometer and thermometer are in working order.
