Her gaze is downcast on an open book resting on her knee. She wears a lace shirt with collar and sleeves that slip off her shoulders, revealing her left breast. Sitting on her dress on a tripod screw stool, she holds a knitting book in her hands. The needles are in painted metal. The whole rests on a circular molded base.
