Wooden box inlaid with various types of wood, some of which are stained. It is decorated with music trophies, flower garlands, flower baskets, birds and a gallant scene of a couple playing music. The motifs are set in cartouches with a dark background, highlighting the fine wood veneer. The interior features a compartmentalized tray concealing the bottom. The box closes with a key.
