A pair of Charles X period torches in bronze with patina and gilding. The base is decorated with a frieze of palmettes and lotuses. The shaft is decorated with caryatids representing vestals dressed in antique tunics with their hair tied in a turban. The upper part of the shafts is decorated with palm trees. The bulbous socket has a filigree net and a frieze of pastilles.
