Pair of Charles X period torches in patinated and gilded bronze. The base is adorned with a frieze of palmettes and lotuses. The shaft is decorated with caryatids representing vestals dressed in antique-style tunics with their hair tied in a turban. The upper part of the shafts is adorned with palm trees. The bulbous tap has a filigree fillet and a frieze of pastilles.
