



















GILT BRONZE CLOCK WITH WINGED GENIE, CHARLES X PERIOD
Clock in gilt bronze and chased period Charles X representing a winged genius playing the lyre in acanthus leaves populated with dolphins. The dial, decorated with two nymphs carrying a lyre on an altar, indicates the hours in black Roman numerals. The oval base is decorated with music trophies and laurel wreaths and rests on four small fluted feet decorated with flowers. The wire clock is decorated with a finely chiseled butterfly. The whole is placed on a black wooden base. Of dynamic composition, this clock has a lyrical momentum that gives it great elegance.
