A small clock in veined red marble and gilt bronze, featuring a standing nymph resting on a sphere caught in clouds, which contains the movement. Roman numerals on the front indicate the hours. Snake-shaped gilt-bronze hands. The set rests on a square base adorned with heart-shaped grapes. Recessed boat-shaped mark behind the movement, containing the letters J L F. Signed J. Dorval (Jacques Dorval-Déglise, sculptor born in 1860 in Algiers). French school. Art Nouveau period, Circa: 1900 Dim: W:9cm, D:9cm, H:31cm.
