A small red veined marble and ormolu clock featuring a standing nymph resting on a sphere caught in clouds and containing the movement. Roman numerals on the front indicate the hours. Snake-shaped gilt-bronze hands. The set rests on a square base adorned with heart-shaped grapes. Recessed boat-shaped mark behind the movement, containing the letters J L F. Signed J.
