Sculpture in carved Carrara marble representing a "Bust of a dreaming child". Head and eyes turned to the left, with a mischievous air and full, curly hair. The lower part of the child's bust extends over the Portor marble base.

Jean-Marie CAMUS (1877-1955) was born in Clermont Ferrand. A pupil of Barrias and Coutan, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français de Paris from 1900, winning a gold medal "hors compétition" in 1931.
