An Art Nouveau gilt-bronze candlestick depicting 'Femme à l'iris sur une feuille de nénuphar' by Alexandre Clerget (1856-1931). The draped young woman, with bared breasts and loose hair, in slight contrapposto, holds an iris on her left arm, at shoulder level, forming the bobèche. She rests on a water lily leaf base.
